The Leegate Knitters group meets every Wednesday from 2-4pm at the Leegate Community Centre and is run by Julia Gemie. All levels of knitters are welcome and if you don't yet know how to knit I will teach you. I will provide needles and yarn for you to learn with until you feel confident enough to buy your own - and you will!

j.a.gemie_facecloths.jpgWe always have lots of knitting patterns to browse through along with books and magazines to help inspire you. If you just want help understanding a knitting pattern then bring it along. We usually have a cup of tea during the afternoon and sometimes a homemade cake. The group always makes new members feel welcome and has both experienced knitters and those new to knitting who attend regularly.

If you have any questions about the Wednesday afternoon group or general knitting queries you can contact me on Jagemie@hotmail.co.uk or 07808 774925. There is a charge of 2.00 per week which all goes towards the running of the Community Centre.
